Memorial Day Pool Party

Greg's step-sister had the fam over to swim and bbq on Memorial Day. We had taken Peyton swimming over there last summer but she was still itty bitty. She had fun splashing in the water. I almost had an anxiety attack every time she walked on the pool deck. Here's some pix of the Budda belly.

Visiting my friends

We bbq'd with Alicia and Rimmy on Memorial Day weekend. It was fun to have the kids together. My how things have changed - we had to eat in shifts since the kids were still up. They played like crazy till 8 then thankfully went right to sleep so we could hang out. Most of this time ws spent talking about where our next vacation would be - how many years away is that? I love the pic of Greg reading to the girls. Don't Peyton & Leah almost look like they could be sisters?

I'm a big girl now!

Now that Peyton is one, and well over the weight requirement, we turned her car seat around. Peyton also switched over to the other side of the infant room last week. All kinds of fun changes! Greg says she had been getting bored in her old room but I thought she was just crabby because of her molars coming in. Well, every day I've picked her up since she changed rooms she has been smilely and giggly. Hmmm. She also gets to go to the big playroom now since she's walking. Very exciting! I wish I could be a fly on the wall and watch her with all the kids in that big room.

Prom Night?

Greg & I went to a fancy schmancy wedding last weekend so I had to get a fancy schmancy dress. Greg's parents took a picture of us when we dropped Peyton off for the night. I felt like we were going to prom. As you can see Peyton was not impressed. We had a great time, though. It was our first time going to the Coronado Ballroom on Lindell and it was beautiful! As was the bride. We couldn't wait to get Peyton the next morning though. It was the longest we've ever been away from her. She had lots of fun with Gaga & Papa, though.

Peyton's Limo

We got Peyton a Radio Flyer wagon for her birthday. It was Greg's idea and, of course, he went all out for his princess. She has the metal wagon with wood sides, canopy and padding. We took her for several walks this weekend and she really seems to like it. She'll even get in it while we're at home.
