Peyton is 2 1/2!

Our big girl turned 2 and a half! She is such a talker and we love what new ideas she comes up with each day. Too funny! It's also amazing seeing how she is developing her own personality, likes and friendships. She even asks to call her friends sometimes on the phone! She is now potty trained during the daytime and likes to go use the restroom by herself. She does need help getting her pants back on though! We definitely have many challenging moments with our strong-willed little girl but she is still such a sweetie and a great big sister.

Sibling Love

I had asked Peyton to do "this little piggie" with Ashlyn and Braden. She started to do it but then started telling them how much she loved them. Such a sweet big sister!

Grant's Farm, Take 2

We took our family of five to Grant's Farm for the first time. It was a perfect Fall morning. Everyone had a great time and we made it back home in time for the next feeding - a miracle!

Big Kids!

I can't believe how big Ashlyn and Braden are getting. Here they are practicing sitting up. They literally made it about a second longer than it took to take these pictures but we're getting there!

Double Vision

My babies just love to look at themselves in the mirror, particularly Braden.

All by herself!

Last night as I was sitting on the couch finishing up Braden's feeding and P was watching Mickey Mouse...

Peyton jumped up from the couch and ran towards the bathroom, she stopped halfway there and turned to me "you can't come!" Of course I thought she was running to hide to do you know what but then I heard the bathroom door shut.

After a few seconds I peeked in and there she was doing her business all by herself (both types of business at that!). She earned her pack of Smarties.

I do wonder what she'll think when she's older of these types of posts but I am so proud of my big girl!

5 months old!

Ashlyn and Braden are now 5 months old! They are both rolling all over the place and we are working on having them sit up on their own. They are starting to notice each other more and like to look at each other. We love to get them both laughing at the same time. Braden is starting to like to sleep on his side from time to time. He now sleeps unswaddled and we are working on Ashlyn - she still has one arm in for now. Braden is also starting to sleep on his side from time to time. We are going to start them on veggies.

Going to Class!

Since I'm lucky enough to stay home now I get to do things I never got to with Peyton, such as baby classes during the day at Parkway Early Childhood Center. We are going to a infant massage class and Ashlyn and Braden LOVE it! We sit in a circle and they usually have their necks turned so they can check out all the other babies. They always take great naps in the afternoon. I thought it was cute that they had name tags for the first day. We even made a new friend who is their age and lives just down the road from us.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Rombach's for the 3rd year with our friends. It was a beautiful, though hot for Fall, day. Peyton loved riding the train (this year all by herself), the ponies and going through the haunted house. It's so fun watching the kiddos grow up together!

Potty Training Update

Peyton has been wearing big girl pants for a few weeks now during the day and we are so proud of her. She rarely has an accident doing #1 but she still does not like to go #2 on the toilet. So, when she goes off and hides we know what she is doing! If we come to find her she yells, "No, walk away!" Apparently she gets that from my brother...
