6 Years

Happy 6th anniversary to my wonderful husband! I'm very lucky to have such a great guy who is also a great father and am so proud of our family. Love you, babe!

Trip to Rambach's

Last year

This year

Saturday we went for the second year in a row to the pumpkin patch with our friends, Kyle and Rachel and Alicia and Rimmy, and their kids. It's amazing what a difference a year makes. Last year Peyton, Drew and Blake were barely sitting up and this year they were running everywhere. They even went on a pony ride! Everyone had fun. Afterwards we went to lunch and all the kids did really well, even though they were pooped! Another great day with great friends.

First Field Trip!

Peyton went on her first field trip with Good Shepherd on Friday. We went on a hayride and hung out in the play area. It was very windy and cold and Peyton didn't want to get down to play. She did seem to like going down the slide. All things considered, she did very well (didn't have to break out the paci once!) and got her 3rd pumpkin. We came home, thawed out with some grilled cheese and tomato soup and both took naps.

18 Months!

The princess is a year and a half old! Time is sure flying! She's quickly becoming a little person who knows what she wants. She's tells us almost every time that she's going to go potty so we just got her a potty chair. Although, since she doesn't like being on the big potty I think we're still a ways off. PAT told us to start writing down her words and we put down a new word almost every day! I also discovered today while taking these pictures that she knows to smile when you say "say cheese!" (but really only when she feels like it!). She still loves to look at her books and now loves to play with her puzzles. She's starting to do the gestures to the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and we have lots of fun singing. She now dislikes riding in carts at the stores and instead wants to run around. So, we've been getting our exercise chasing after her!
