Creative Mommy?

Those two words don't usually go together in this house, but I actually did something that was a hit.  This winter it has been the snowman waffle.  Yogurt with Craisens and, if it's a really special day, a few chocolate chips.  This really came out of the fact that I hate giving them syrup and it stops them from asking for it.

Love Peyton's random comments! 
"When I grow up I want to be in the Fresh Beat Band" (from TV)

When she was getting ready for swimming lessons:  "I don't want a swimsuit that covers my whole body.  I want one that shows my belly button.  I want it to cover my booties (boobies) and that covers my bobo (bottom)."  She repeated that to Greg when he got home and he shot her down.

Circle Time!

We do "circle time" most days at least once a day.  This usually consists of singing a couple songs and reading a story all together.  Most of the time Peyton likes to be the teacher.  Today she asked Ashlyn to sit on her lap and to my surprise, Ashlyn actually did so voluntarily.  Braden had already made a run for it by the time I ran to get my camera.  (Circle time doesn't last too long with Ashlyn and Braden!)
