We took Peyton to the doctor today because she has had an on-and-off fever, bad cough, runny nose and wheezing since Thursday night. And, she didn't want to eat very much, if you can believe that!
I kept her home Friday but by Sunday she didn't seem to be getting any better, even after giving her several breathing treatments we had left over. With that and since RSV is going around at daycare we called the doc.
We got into the doc at 8:45 this morning and didn't get home until 11:15. We ended up having to go get her x-rayed and found out she has some sort of "infiltrates" in her lungs. I'm going to ask more questions at her 9-mo checkup next week since all we really heard today was that she was going to take amoxycillan and continue with the albuterol treatments and she was going to be okay.
Now Greg, who was trying to get rid of a cold, is feeling bad again and I have a sore throat. Greg and I are ready to take her out of that darn daycare. Good thing is that this afternoon she was back to playing like normal and almost has her appetite back.

Poor Peyton! I'm so sorry to hear that she's this sick. We need to open a daycare for Peyton and Kate of their own!
