Because we had some vaca days to burn (and could get a credit on daycare tuition), Greg and I decided to take a week off and bum around the Lou. Greg couldn't take Wednesday off, so P and I had a girls' day. After her morning nap, we went and picked up Aunt Stephie and headed out to Foristel to meet Gina's new baby, Sam. We were a little disappointed her future hubby (Gina's other son, Sully - yes, P has a lot of prospects!) wasn't there to play, but that meant that Peyton had full run of the house and all of Sully's toys to herself. And boy, does he have a lot toys! And, the house is TOTALLY babyproofed, which I can't say for my own house, so she could go from room to room and play while I held the teeny little baby. I'm sad we don't get to see Peyton's future mother-in-law (as Gina kept mentioning) often enough. But, we had a great time and can't wait to visit again when Sully is there.
Peyton slept the entire 50 minutes home and then we went and played in her pools in the backyard. It was a nice start to our fun week ahead.
